This is a one-of-a-kind hand felted garment. The stylish double-sided jacket is made from all natural materials: Australian Merino wool, raw fleece,Italian viscose and several varieties of Uzbekistan silk. The felting process combines wool fibers with selected underlay to produce a warm, light, and durable fabric.
One side of the jacket features raw wool lock details, which create a natural, raw texture. The other side of the coat features an intricate patchwork of silk squares. This arrangement produces a three-dimensional, intricate pattern.
To make this item takes 60 hours of time, lots of patience and love. Author’s design.
 
The felting process is where wool is felted or entangled with water, soap and friction to push the wool through the silk or viscose base.
